Librarian and aspiring novelist Harriet Goodson, who is currently suffering from writer's block, is a fan of Jane Austen. Her favorite book is Pride and Prejudice. It is her love for that book that "maybe" makes her respond to her boyfriend Ethan Pronce's unexpected marriage proposal, because, despite being romantic in nature, it did not resemble the fairytale proposal she had envisioned from her unknown "Mr. Darcy", whom she considers the most romantic hero in literature.
