'Tales from the Golden Age' is a personal story about the past communist period in Romania, told through folktales and the perspective of the common people. The stories show the sometimes surreal daily life under the communist regime and dictatorship. The only type of car available is the local Dacia, everyone is trying hard to steal from the state and Party orders must be followed, no matter how idiotic they are.
