"Producer HAROLD LLOYD brings you oceans of fun with the goofiest gobs that ever tore a port apart."
Stephen 'Steve' Herrick is a shy and quiet man who works for a transport company. Steve meets Dorothy "Dot" while visiting the Opera, where she had sat in his seat. The next day it turns out that Dot is his new temporary secretary. Then Claudius J. 'Coffee Cup' Cup comes to town to visit his beloved Dot. When Steven goes out with his girlfriend Cecilia from that moment on, he finds her boring. But when he is with Dot and Coffee Cup, he finds everything exciting and he starts falling for Dot. Cuffee Cup is summoned by the Navy and he plans to marry Dot before that.
