"He's dying to become a chef."

Remy is a rat who constantly risks his life in the expensive French restaurant Gusteau. Not only because of his love for good food, but also because he desperately wants to be a top chef himself. When young Linguini, who is offered a job in the kitchen despite his lack of talent, discovers Remy's talents, it's the rat's chance to make his dream come true. Linguini and Remy then team up and try to put Gusteau's restaurant back on the map.

Now I finally understand why Luna always sits on my head instead of on the traditional shoulder! Tonight we had green beans but Maus already indicated by fanatically hanging around and licking my finger that they preferred chicken .... you understand that rats have all kinds of culinary preferences was known here for some time .... and those green beans that I'll just eat it myself!

The film itself, then, a nice idea, but the elaboration is sometimes a bit too long-winded, I should have left that whole will thing out. Animation is nice, but we've seen Pixar pass by before and the human faces make me a little homesick for old-fashioned drawings.

Other than that, pretty fun, fast pace, nice jokes, good food.

“Can I interest you in a dessert this evening?”

Great animated film in which a rat wants to become the best chef in the world. A great starting point, and Ratatouille is just about perfect. The film is full of life and the fun radiates from it. And the story is ingenious and the animation looks brilliant. Remy, Linguini, Colette, Skinner, Django, Emile etc. All great characters. When everything is right, there is something magical about animated films, and Ratatouille is the perfect example of this.

Ratatouille again this time with the children. Still one of the best Pixars. It is and continues to be enjoyable. Admittedly, again a story in which an individual wants to be himself, even against his nature. It's a moral that comes up often. But at Ratatouille, everything was worked out very accurately and down to the last detail, so that everything coincides perfectly.

Graphically top notch again. The rats move very precisely and accurately. The colours, shades and shadows were constructed with great care. The characters are fun, are not necessarily a caricature of themselves and the humor is also a hit. Of course rats can't cook, but the story is very cleverly presented. The magic of beautiful Paris does the rest. Ratatouille is a film that appeals to adults and children alike.
