"Not All Fairy Tales Go By the Book."
The story revolves around the mysterious disappearance of Hansel and Gretel. At the time of the disappearance, Little Red Riding Hood finds herself in a faraway land in a secret training camp, where she trains with the 'Sister Hoods'. When she and the Wolf are summoned to investigate the suspicious disappearance, they set out to rescue Hansel and Gretel. However, this is not without obstacles.

I am a big fan of the original Hoodwinked. I went to see the sequel with my nephew in the cinema. We had a good laugh at the silly humour, although the style here was completely different and not as original as the first film. The humour here is perhaps a bit too cheap to entice me to watch this sequel regularly.

Also brought this one and it was a cool movie, but not really a must-see. I didn't get bored with it and there are some references to other movies and that is nicely done. Visually it is in line with the first.

Little Red Riding Hood [Hayden Panettiere] is undergoing some sort of superhero training with the Sisters Of The Hood when the witch Verushka [Joan Cusack] kidnaps her grandmother [Glenn Close]. The goal is to find the recipe for a magic truffle that gives superpowers to whoever eats it. Nicky Flippers [David Ogden Stiers] believes that Grandma is being held captive in the city. So Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolf [Patrick Warburton] and Twitchy [Cory Edwards] investigate. The story is an excuse to introduce a truckload of fairy tale characters (including some familiar faces), but this sequel to Hoodwinked is a bit messy and chaotic.
