Zhì Qu Weihu Shan plot
The story is set in northwestern China in the winter of 1946. A civil war rages on between marauding bandits and the People's Liberation Front, tasked with taking down the insurgents. The most feared bandit is Lord Hawk who has an army of thousands of commandos in the fortress atop Tiger Mountain. They are armed to the teeth with weapons left behind by refugee Japanese. Opposite Hawk is the PLA Unit 203, a group of about 30 soldiers led by the idealistic Jianbo. In a last ditch effort to defeat Hawk, Zirong Yang is sent to infiltrate so that he can obtain classified information from the stronghold that can be used for a plan of attack.
