Wildlike plot
Mackenzie, a troubled teenage girl, is sent by her mother to live with her uncle in Juneau, Alaska. Although her uncle appears to be a supportive and nurturing friend, the relationship begins to deteriorate and Mackenzie is forced to flee. She tries to find her way back to Seattle. However, she becomes more and more lost in the Alaskan landscape.
