The Poseidon Adventure plot
Welcome aboard the majestic SS Poseidon. This "sailing city" departs from the port of Athens for a one-month cruise. Among the 2,500 passengers is Mike Rogo, a secret agent of the Homeland Security Service. One of the 1,200 crew members is the terrorist Kasim Badawi, who smuggled a bomb on board. When it becomes clear that great danger is imminent, the Poseidon sails at full speed through stormy weather to the nearest harbor, towards its doom.

Weak moralistic bite. The movie gets fun for a while when the ship spins, but otherwise it's negligible.

The story is a bit different from Posseidon, because there there is a big wave that makes the ship capsize and in this version it is a terrorist attack with bombs.
Rutger Hauer also participates as a priest.
For the rest a nice movie, maybe a bit too much drama in the end, but okay.

The original seems almost impossible to top in advance. Rutger Hauer makes his
good, but in everything this film does not come close to the original. This also applies to
