Sea Wolf plot
San Francisco 1902. Wolf Larsen, captain of the schooner 'Ghost', leaves, like his brother Death Larsen with his steamer 'Macedonia', for Japan in pursuit of lucrative seal pelts. Also on board the 'Ghost' are a young writer and the drowning man / literature critic Humphrey van Weyden. The tyrannical Wolf forces Humphrey to work as a cabin boy. A fierce battle ensues between Humphrey van Weyden and Wolf for the young woman. The 'Ghost' and 'Macedonia' arrive at the seals at the same time. In the battle for the lucrative pelts, Wolf kills several of his brother's men. The situation escalates on board the 'Ghost', the crew decides to mutiny and Van Weyden and Maud flee.
