Samar plot

dr. John David Saunders is a mercenary who is sent to a Spanish prison colony in the 19th century. Colonel Juan Sebastian Salazar tries to run this prison, also known as Samar, as democratically as possible. The evil Captain De Guzman disagrees with Salazar's humane way of dealing with prisoners and demands that Samar be closed. Salazar responds by destroying the camp, releasing the prisoners and taking De Guzman hostage. With David Saunders' help, Salazar flees into the jungle to find a new place for his dream prison, without walls.
