Journey to the Center of the Earth plot

Geologist Theo Lytton, his nephew Jonas, the wealthy Alice Hastings and the robust Irishman McNiff are in New Zealand in search of Casper, Alice's husband who disappeared without a trace 7 years ago. After a long journey full of dangers, they arrive at a dark and mysterious cave, which leads them to the center of the earth. There they find evidence that Casper must also have been here or maybe even still is. The only question is; is he still alive and if so, where is he? Whatever the answer to this question, it soon becomes apparent that they are not the only living beings in this dark corner of the earth.
