Call of the Wild plot
Reluctantly, nine-year-old city girl Ryan Hale (Ariel Gade) visits her grandfather in Montana. It's cold there, the people are way too friendly and there isn't even a mall to hang out in. But then Ryan finds an injured wild dog. She takes care of the animal and calls him "Buck". Together with her grandfather and a few new friends, she manages to help Buck get back on track. And then Ryan gets an idea: She signs up to compete with Buck in the annual sled dog competition.
