The Hyperions plot
"Take back your power."
In the 1960s, Professor Ruckus Mandulbaum develops a device that gives people superpowers. After the discovery, he took in three underprivileged youths and created an unusual superhero family. They soon gained fame and prestige. Over time, the commercial family fell apart, and the professor replaced the team with a new group of superheroes. Many years later, two of the original superheroes are adults and want to use the device that previously gave them their powers. Even if that means robbing the professor's museum and accidentally taking a few hostages.
