Not unkind. Left it all this time because of Mel Gibson, but he didn't bother him. He's doing a decent job as a determined dude, looking for his 70k. And some warmth from a blonde, because that should of course not be missing. A film wrapped in a dark blue glow that is somewhere in between a neo noir and more flamboyant bloodshed stuff, where here and there some tough and cold humor comes into play. Beautiful cast with a lot of familiar faces that fit perfectly here and yet it is Lucy Liu who stands out the most. Her Pearl likes a tap. It lacks some flair and nothing really stands out, but the whole Outfit thing is exactly what a movie like this needs. Merciless fun.

Good film about a criminal who has been left for dead, comes back to take the part of his loot. This revenge movie has a fairly simple plot, but there is enough progress and enough good scenes. Entertaining and somewhat fat characters and it is all quite stylishly portrayed. A fine role by Mel Gibson, who is well cast here.
Also watched the director's cut for the first time, which has a completely different tone and also a completely different ending. However, I prefer the theatrical cut.
