Lucy (Scarlett Johansson) is a young woman who is horribly forced to smuggle drugs. She accidentally comes into contact with the drugs, which mysteriously give her superhuman powers. She can absorb knowledge directly, is able to move objects with her mind and she cannot feel pain or suffering. She then goes to war against the miscreants who attacked her.

I think this is a beautiful film with minor flaws.
Good actors, humor and a bit of action, good pace and despite the nonsense still an interesting story. (Which reminded me a bit of limitless).
The story is not watertight/well worked out, I can agree with the questions of timburtontimburton.
So if you're looking for a serious movie, don't watch this one.

I don't know what exactly I expected from the film, at least a more interesting story. I didn't think it was well developed, in my opinion there were several missed opportunities to develop the story better.

What nonsense! Well, a lot.
But what a fun fairytale!
Just watched it for the 4th time (it's on KPN). The speed and conviction of some of the actors is simply wonderful.
Of course the criminals are over the top, but dreaming/drifting on the idea of omnipotence is entertaining.
