Johnny Doyle flees his violent past and moves from Ireland to London. Here his quiet life is disrupted by his former mentor Flynn, who has escaped from prison and immediately wants to literally blow up the Irish peace process. However, it turns out not to be easy to flee Doyle's residential area, Brixton, with the police on their tail, and they are for the time being sentenced to wait in Doyle's house, amidst his strange and quirky roommates.
