Pretty good action movie. Agent 47 is now better portrayed by Friend than its previous predecessor Olyphant. Decent action scenes. Beautiful film locations. And a correct choice of car (red Audi RS7)!
It is definitely worth watching this movie if you like this kind of genre.

Bad action movie all round. It's also no more than the version with Tympothy Olyphant, but exactly a lot cheaper, worse. It all still progresses fairly quickly, luckily, but I don't recommend it to anyone to see this one. The little charismatic protagonist Rupert Friend is the perfect embodiment of the emptiness of the film.

Although I'm clearly in the minority, I found this part of the Hitman series much more manageable than the Gans version that was released 8 years ago. Although that film may have handled it a bit better in terms of content, this part decides to really focus on the action. The funny thing is that they pop out a pretty fun movie with it too.
I didn't think so beforehand, Friend in the role of Hitman. Doesn't really look like someone who can easily identify with the role. I was soon wrong about that, and as it turned out when the first action moments started to roll across the screen. Ware is somewhat lifeless as a co-star, but quite tough as an action heroine, and Quinto finishes it off well. None of them deliver brilliant acting, but it's fun.
In terms of action, the film manages to pull off well. Refreshingly gory and creative. I've never seen multiple set pieces in similar action movies before. It's also nice that the film apparently had the money to make something fun out of it. It makes for quite a few innovative moments where all kinds of gadgets are used combined with fun ways to kill each other.
The story is a bit weak and several points are simply thought through, furthermore I was able to enjoy a film that throws away all the stupid parts and becomes stupidity itself. It looks nice, looks nice and doesn't last too long. Actually, I don't have to ask much more from a simple, but spectacular action film like this. A bit of a shame that the somewhat jolly CGI doesn't match the content very well, otherwise quite enjoyable. A more energetic camera could have made it a real party.
