This is a really bad movie and although I'm a super Stones fan, I have to admit that Jagger really can't act. How bad it is, but in fact it is not even noticeable, because everything is bad about this film, although the basic idea is nice.

It all looks very clumsy and cheap, sort of like a third-rate Blade Runner.

I remember going to see him in the cinema, the room was otherwise completely empty and towards the end I had to pee a lot, but thought it was a shame to go to the toilet and miss the end, but he just kept going and keep going, sigh!

2 stars for the effort.

Eighties in '92.

Little special action SF, which stands out mainly because of the cast. Not that it can make a difference anywhere. The story is simple, but the first half hour is quite nice. The SFX are often more idiotic than those of the average eighties video clip. Despite the year that decade, the film is very expansive anyway. Unfortunately not positively.

Average.

A race car driver's body is coveted by a dead millionaire in need of a new body.

Underrated sf with a cyberpunk element and 80s vibe that mainly suffers from a low production value. The future just doesn't look good enough. There are tricks like strange carts and cars, which sometimes just have a different color than you are used to. Sets are not special at all.

Hopkins unfortunately doesn't have much to do, Jagger anymore and is doing well. Jonathan Banks has clearly grown as an actor when you see him in Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul because here it is still really a wooden Klaas. The Russo was certainly at the pinnacle of tasty but is also a bit woody. Estevez is a dubious choice...he never really knows how to fill a role differently than in other films, so you always see the same old Emilio.

It is also strange how many people try to kill Estevez while he really only has value alive. But I think the story is still pretty good. Pretty simple but at the end there are a nice number of plot twists. And they were handled more decently than I was used to. The film could have looked a lot cooler, with a slightly better cast and then it could have been a classic. The current rating is really too low here, it's an entertaining piece of video feed from a time when people had to put in a lot more effort to show the future. You could see the same production problem with The Running Man for example.
