I dunno, it might further the plot.
My compliments to this film, which gives the oh-so-boring and worn-out superhero thing (my God how I hate the hype) a new impulse. The opening is really great (not so much the credits, though that was nice) but the whole chase is just smashing good. Through a lot of pranks and a surprisingly well-functioning romance (for once not a blonde cutiepie), Deadpool rams through an hour and a half with a lot of energy and determination, although the final act is perhaps a bit too standard. But it sure is fun!

Nah. Looked at Ryan Reynolds, who I think is a nice guy. But this is so not my genre, so I sat through the film with pain and effort. Bland humor. No, I'll skip part 2 (now in the cinema)...

Jesus, how bland. Almost every sentence is meant to be funny, which comes across as very forced. Especially since only 1 in 20 jokes are actually funny. I really like Ryan Reynolds, but he can't get this one either. Apart from the misplaced and failed humor, the story is wafer thin and not very interesting.
2* because the (body of Reynolds) is just captivating enough to watch to the end
