"A hero is born, the legend begins."
During the Second Manchu invasion of Korea, Nam-Yi's village is raided and looted by Qing warriors. Nam-Yi's sister and her husband-to-be are kidnapped. Nam-Yi is a skilled archer and, alone, decides to follow the Qing army. He tries to take out the soldiers one by one, all the while hoping for a chance at a chance to free the hostages.
