Emilia Clarke admits nothing in her career has compared to the organisation and professionalism that she has enjoyed on Marvel's Secret Invasion television series.
The British actress became a worldwide name thanks to her role as Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones. She has also featured in two other juggernaut franchises: The Terminator and Star Wars.
In 2015, she starred in Terminator Genisys and in 2018 she starred in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
She currently appears in Secret Invasion, the new Disney+ television series which takes part within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She plays the character of G'iah, the son of former Skrull leader Talos who must join forces with Nick Fury to prevent a Skrull invasion of Earth.
When asked how working on a Marvel project compares to Star Wars, Game of Thrones and The Terminator, she told Yahoo:
"It's...it's just the best one.
"It's such a pedigree in its own right. It's on its own level that is separate from anything else. It isn't just a superhero franchise, it's MARVEL. There's an ease and a calm that comes from them being the best and understanding that they are the best.
"And, having this cast is just completely mind-blowing.
"Game of Thrones was such a unique experience for me because we didn't know what the hell we were doing, most of the time.
"And, then it just became this big thing and we rode that journey all the way. This (Marvel), you're stepping in and everyone is already doing their A-game."
Alongside Clarke, Secret Invasion stars Samuel L. Jackson, Martin Freeman, Coby Smulders, Ben Mendelsohn, Don Cheadle, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Dermot Mulrooney and Olivia Colman.
