Grave Encounters plot
"They Were Searching For Proof. They Found it."
The crew of 'Grave Encounters', a reality show in which they search for ghosts, travels to an abandoned mental institution, where unexplained things have been happening for years. To make the show more spectacular, they lock themselves in the building to look for supernatural happenings at night armed with a camera. They soon discover that they cannot just leave the building.

Great horror.
Grave Encounters is a film that you find very often, the found footage genre. A genre that normally doesn't fascinate me very much and never scares me that much. But this was quite exciting. Especially the nooks and crannies you encounter.
I thought the first part of the film was fun, you also notice some commentary on the reality ghost shows. like Bribing the gardener and talking about dramatic acting that you also often see in the shows
The second part gets a bit more exciting in you also see some great scare effects. Not exactly scary ghosts, but a fine threat.
The atmosphere is also quite oppressive, but it is all not original and just a bit short of everything. A great movie, but nothing more.
