This film is really for those who love Leslie Nielsen. Humor is hugely childish, but I was able to enjoy it quite a bit. Something I usually have with Nielsen films.

heh.

Like many of his buddies, Stanley Tong moved to America in the late 1990s. But to end up with a film like this, there has to be a separate story behind it. Maybe in the wake of Jingle Ma, because I saw that one on the credits too.

No action, but a rather typical Nielsen comedy, but with brake jokes and silly characters (that I didn't know). Especially remarkably ugly mouths in this film, no idea if that was a reference to something, but everyone seemed to have an extra large mouth. The acting is also very bad, with Garner leading the way of course.

Bad story and so on and so forth. In fact, only the humor counts and that, except for a rare moment, is just very bad. Like so many HK directors before him, Tong only made one film, luckily I think.

1.0*
