Flaskepost fra P plot

In department Q, Carl Morck is handed a forgotten bottle from Scotland containing a barely legible note with the word help. The bottle is linked to some disappearances of siblings whose parents never reported the children missing. Carl and Assad then dive into the case to solve the mysterious disappearances.

Watched this for the second time today and Flaskepost fra P remains a strong and exciting (including the train and hospital part) film although I think it is a bit less than the previous two. I don't think it's the story is true, it had enough potential, only the effect is a bit less this time.
Many beautiful images, especially the landscape of Jutland has a convincing, somewhat gloomy atmosphere, so that the overall picture of this third part remains positive.

Incidentally, a new film by the two Carl Mørck/Assad is on the way, Journal 64, with Christoffer Boe in the director's chair this time.

Third film in the series of films around Department Q in which Carl Morck and Assad try to solve a bizarre mysterious case of kidnapping children. The duo is back on track and the Scandinavian locations provide an appropriate atmosphere. Despite few action moments, the film remains exciting until the end. No room for exaggerated action sequences or inappropriate faint feelings. An asset of this series of films by the way. I think the story is slightly less than the first two films and certainly compared to the last. 7.5/10

The best part of the series so far.

Especially a nicer plot. Those creepy believers always seem a bit mysterious. Furthermore, I still think that everything is revealed too quickly, but apparently that is necessary in this series.

3*
