"When the predator becomes the prey"

With some unsolicited help from an ex-judge and the young woman he uses as bait, Detective Marshall rescues a few long-missing girls from a remote home and catches the suspected perpetrator. At first glance, it appears to be harmless, but deeply traumatized, which puzzles Marshall and his colleague Rachel: are they dealing with a brilliant mind that is trying to deceive them, or is the true mastermind still walking free? ?

Sneak film at Pathé.

Pretty standard police thriller. You've probably seen a movie like this countless times.
I found the assembly a bit messy, there didn't seem to be a single clear thread. Superficial characters, characters that suddenly appeared and disappeared from view, a few random exciting scenes and a random shooting and so on.
And why do filmmakers still think hackertyper.com comes across as credible?

It was nice the twist, I didn't see it coming. Also some humor here and there that gave the film some color. Soundtrack remained very good, except for a few scenes.

There is really not much more to say. Subtitles looked good. Unfortunately, in a few cases translated too integrally, so that the text disappeared from view before you could read it in its entirety. No credit, unfortunately.

6.5/10

Fair enough, I did enjoy it. Actually a gruesome story, and yet another about a serial killer, but director Raymond skillfully manages to avoid the pitfalls. Fast editing, quite a bit of action but especially the tasty mystery drag you into the story and make you take the gloomy atmosphere for granted. Intense play by the cast, especially the phenomenal play of one Brendan Fletcher that caught my eye. Superman Cavill actually visibly has too much muscle to be completely believable as an ordinary cop, Daddario walks around here mainly because she's so beautiful and Kingsley (in a brilliantly conceived side plot) plays these kinds of roles with his eyes closed. Well worth it, not the very best in this genre, but enjoyable..

A little bland, but still looks good. Acting is solid and Kingsley's role is especially interesting. Cavill plays reasonably well, Daddario also well and Tucci also okay. The biggest problem with Nomis is the messy editing, which makes the story sometimes confused. In the end it's all clear but with a more talented director this film would come out better. In the middle it starts to drag a bit but the climax is okay again.

2.5*
