The final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm is currently airing on HBO so it's a good time to look back at some of the greatest episodes of the legendary comedy series.
The show stars Larry David as a fictionalised version of himself living in Los Angeles after the success of hit show, Seinfield, which he co-created. It is one of the most critically-acclaimed sitcoms of all time and has been nominated for 47 Primetime Emmy Awards including 10 out of 11 possible nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series.
HBO announced in December that the twelfth season will be the last, and David released a statement of his own in typical tongue-in-cheek fashion.
“As CURB comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character,” he said.
“And so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders.
