Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese have led tributes to Ray Liotta following the actor's death at the age of 67.
On Thursday of this week, Liotta's publicist Jennifer Allen confirmed that he had passed away while filming Dangerous Waters in the Dominican Republic.
His exact cause of death is not known at this time.
Liotta has a number of acclaimed acting credits to his name, including performances in Copland, Field of Dreams, Something Wild, Marriage Story and Many Saints of Newark.
However, he is most famed for portraying Henry Hill in iconic gangster epic Goodfellas, directed by Scorsese.
The legendary director is one of numerous Hollywood figures who have expressed condolences for Liotta's passing.

In a release to US media, Scorsese said that he was "shocked and devastated" at the news.
"Playing Henry Hill in Goodfellas was a tall order, because the character had so many different facets, so many complicated layers, and Ray was in almost every scene of a long, tough shoot," he continued.
"He absolutely amazed me, and I'll always be proud of the work we did together on that picture.
"My heart goes out to his loved ones, and it aches for his loss, way too early."
De Niro, meanwhile, said: "I was very saddened to learn of Ray's passing. He is way too young to have left us."
In Goodfellas, Hill was married to Karen Hill, played by Lorraine Bracco, who wrote on Twitter:
"I am utterly shattered to hear this terrible news about my Ray. I can be anywhere in the world & people will come up & tell me their favourite movie is Goodfellas. Then they always ask what was the best part of making that movie. My response has always been the same…Ray Liotta."
