Margot Robbie says she has been pushing for a big-screen romance between Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy.
The Oscar-nominated actress has played Quinn in a number of projects for DC Comics, including Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad.
There has been no confirmation as of yet as to when she will play Quinn again, but she is eager to return, and wants the character to hook up with another DC villain.
"I've had enough of a break. I'm ready to do her again," she told ComicBook.com
"I did Birds of Prey and The Suicide Squad back-to-back, so that was a lot of Harley all in a one-year period, but that was a while ago now. I'm always ready for more Harley. I have been pushing for that for years . I cannot tell you how hard I've been pushing for that. I want it too.
"Honestly, when I pictured, I always picture like Poison Ivy in the comics. I don't really actually picture an actress doing it, but I agree, that would be so good."

One DC Comics franchise that is out with the official DC universe is Joker. The 2019 movie proved to be a critical and commercial success as fans flocked to see a fresh incarnation of the most famous villain in comic book history.
Directed by Todd Phillips and starring Joaquin Phoenix, the latter won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance as Arthur Fleck, whose fight against poverty and the elite of Gotham City saw him develop into the Joker.
On a budget of $70 million, it earned an astonishing $1bn at the box office.
The sequel is called Joker: Folie a Deux. It will see Lady Gaga take on the role of Quinn in what is believed to be a musical.
Robbie says she always envisioned the character of Quinn as one that could be passed on from one actor to another.
“It makes me so happy because I said from the very beginning, all I want is for Harley Quinn to be one of those characters, the way like Macbeth or Batman always gets passed from great actor to great actor,” Robbie told MTV News.
“It’s such an honor to have built a foundation strong enough that Harley can now be one of those characters that other actors get to have a go at playing.
“I think she will do something incredible with it.”
