Everyone knows by now that Deadpool & Wolverine will be packed full of cameos, but franchise actor Karan Soni has added more fuel to the speculation as to who will appear.
The first two Deadpool movies are in the top 10 highest-grossing R-rated movies in history, earning $782 million and $785m respectively.
Deadpool & Wolverine will be the first entry in the series to be included within the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be the first MCU movie to hold an R-rating.
In August of 2022, it was announced that Hugh Jackman would make a sensational return as Wolverine despite the character's death in Logan, having apparently been convinced to return by his pal, Ryan Reynolds.
It has already been confirmed that Jennifer Garner will reprise her Marvel role of Elektra, but several other major cameos have been rumoured that include Liev Schrieber or Tyler Mane as Sabretooth, Daniel Radcliffe as an alternate version of Wolverine and Taylor Swift as either Dazzler or Lady Deadpool.
“Yeah, I’ve heard that one. I love it (the gossip)," Reynolds responded to the Vancouver Sun when asked about Swift appearing.
"I think it is a sign of how eager people are to get a peek behind the curtain in this world. Every single one of these secrets and spoilers will be revealed on July 26.”
We might be getting more than we thought, as Soni has teased that many surprise people made their way to London for the production.
“This new MCU version is ultra-secretive,” he told Variety. “There are a lot of surprises. Let’s just say a lot of people travelled to London.”
Deadpool & Wolverine trailer
This trailer is certainly a bit of a tease in that we don't yet see Jackman turn up as Wolverine until the last second, and even then you don't see his face. So, we can expect another trailer soon in which we see the Aussie actor donning the famous yellow and blue suit.
In typical Deadpool fashion, there are a few meta nods to the camera. He even described himself as the saviour of the MCU, a 'Marvel Jesus'.
