Nice movie about a hostage situation in a store in the center of Amsterdam. Based on the Apple store hostage situation of 2022. Partly because of this, the course is rather predictable (although there are a few exciting moments). Furthermore, the characters are rather superficial, but the events in and around the Apple store are well portrayed.

Saw the movie today on Netflix. It's a typical cash crab. I would have liked to see more character development, more background story, especially of the attacker. Couldn't sympathize with anyone because of this. Everything feels forced. There is absolutely no sense of danger or tension. Everything is presented very clinically. It is in fact a film adaptation of the documentary on Videoland that manages to create more tension than this weak copy. Actually, this movie is completely unnecessary, the director wanted to make money quickly. Cinematically, this doesn't amount to much. If you haven't seen the documentary, I can still recommend this movie, otherwise you can ignore it like most people. I had high hopes at first, but it's another Dutch crap movie.

Very exciting thriller. The story is familiar and despite knowing how it ends, they manage to make it an exciting whole. From minute 1 you are glued to the TV until the end. It is a bit thickened with some cliché characters, but that is part of it, because you have to see this as a pure thriller and not as a half documentary. The acting is good. Visually also of a good level with strong camera shots. 4.0
