Paradise plot
The film is set in the not too distant future, in which the company AEON has become a billion-dollar group in the pharmaceutical industry. The start-up has done this with a revolutionary technology that makes it possible to transfer lives from one person to another. This has serious consequences for parts of society. After his wife is forced to give up 40 years of her life to pay for an insurance debt, a man desperately searches for a way to get them back.

The story starts quite clichéd. It's the future. There are wealthy people and poor people who live in ghetto-like conditions. Even the idea that you can buy or sell years of life and the poor are sacrificed for the rich is not new, but a German film is slightly different from an American one and that is what makes this film surprising. Hard to predict how it will end and time flew by while watching.

Okay movie. Not great.
Beginning was nice and futuristic. But that quickly turned into an ordinary action thriller with science fiction touches. I had a bit of the feeling that they didn't know which way they wanted to go and that makes it seem a bit rushed.
Nevertheless, it was nice to look at.
